Houmous (Ve)

Ingredients:


1 x 400g can of chickpeas

4 teaspoons tahini

1 garlic clove

pinch salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

juice of a lemon

paprika to decorate


Serves 3-4 as a snack/starter with crudities, pitta bread of tortilla chips. Makes up the equivalent of a 300g pot of humous from the store.


Instructions:


Whizz together all the ingredients in blender until smooth. Spoon into a serving dish and sprinkle with paprika before serving.
